Arrival by Train DAS FEST
Quick, comfortable, and CO2-emissions-free transportation to the festival with the BahnCard. BahnCard holders travelling over 100 km are granted a City-ticket allowing them to take the tram to the festival venue for free.
WALKWAY FROM THE TRAIN STATION
Pedestrians can enjoy a very beautiful walk at the Alb River along the Günther-Klotz-Anlage (approx. 2.7 km or 40 min). When you leave the central station, turn left next to the taxi stop through Victor-Gollancz-Strasse. After about 250 m, cross Schwarzwaldstrasse (there should be an underpass to your left) and walk across the “Altbahnhof“ (old train station). Approx. 100 m afterwards, continue to the allotment gardens on your left (behind the “Stephanienbad” building).
The direct walkway should lead you to Ebertstrasse and from there to Hermann-Veit-Strasse which ends directly at the Europahalle. The Tram 1 stop is right at the festival venue. However, this tram line does not come directly from the station; you would have to change trams along the way. The visitors from Durlach (for example, the campers) should take Tram 1.
